Baby Gift and a sneak peek!!

Hello blog world.

Long time no post, life has just really taken over too much at the moment.  But we've had easter and I have had some time off work and created some really good things, so stay tuned there will be a few more posts than the norm :)

Firstly one of my really close friends is pregnant!! Congrats Ali Cat.  I have her shower /  going away (sadly for me she is moving interstate for her hubby's work)  lunch next week and this is her first present.
It is a soft book I sewed together for the bubs!!

Ain't they the cutest critters!!

I bought the panel at the craft fair this year and I am really pleased with the results and it's so easy to make. So if you are looking for a quick easy yet pretty gift these soft book panels are the way to go.

Next I have to make 2 cards!!!

First  I  have more sewing, i am working on a wall hanging for my kitchen, a needle case coz I am so sick of getting jabbed everytime I go to get something from my sewing box, another book cover, an Ipod case for my daughter and the illustrious quilt, which is nearly complete!!!!  Because of your patience I have included  a sneak peek below.

OH and I nearly forgot, I am also working on my first crochet scarf and it's another friend's birthday on Tuesday, so I am making her some red velvet cupcakes to take to work for our special lunch.  (Sshh it's a secret) plus we get the left overs.

So all in all I have been pretty busy as you can see but as said before stay tuned I am going to make a conscious effort to keep this more up to date as this place is not just for whoever may be looking (if there is anyone out there) but it's for me.  A place for me to write my thoughts on crafting and my life in general and also to look back and remember and see how much I've learned and grown,

Anyways thanks for looking and happy crafting.

What a beautiful little book, I was a fan of these types of soft books when my son was a baby, he could use them as teethers too, he loved them, and this one is gorgeous.
